Downtown Raleigh Sunrise Session

Lidija & Arend's first date was at a coffee shop where they talked for hours and hours about life and found they have a common passion for travel and new experiences. So it was only perfect that on a trip to Iceland, Arend proposed in front of Gullfoss Falls. He's also a photographer and takes amazing landscape shots. He brings his tripod traveling so he set it up as normal and surprised her with photos of their engagement! I was beyond thrilled when Lidijia contacted me and wanted me to be apart of their wedding! With limited time in Raleigh before Drew and I left for Rome, we found a perfect sunrise morning to celebrate their engagement. They live in downtown and wanted to include Francesca the Vespa, their scooter! I was over the moon with their idea to find cobble stone streets and bring out the Italian vibes. We next adventured to the arboretum for some gorgeous sunrise moments and had the entire gardens to ourselves. They gave me tips about where to travel told me about non touristy spots to visit. I could have lingered all morning with them! I'm so so so stoked Drew and I get to capture their wedding and so happy to have met more friends in Raleigh! Sending lots of love from Rome!
