Foggy Sunrise Engagement in Miami Beach

Zoie, Nick, and their pup Melvin are the kind of friends you meet and immediately are like, yeah, these are my people. Kind hearted, easy going, and up for anything.

Zoie and Nick met at Marquette University and now she's studying school psychology in Arizona and he's an attorney in Coral Gables. My husband just went through his phd program and is now on his residency year, so we could totally empathize about all the hard work and stressful process! Zoie is an angel and I'm so happy the world will gain another incredible therapist! Hopefully Zoie will get to move here to Miami soon for her psychology internship so they can all be together! It's so evident, though, that distance is just a number as they support each other's dreams from across the country and work towards their goals together. They're so chill, light, and easy!

​Sunrise is early, but they were ready for a fun morning and their joy overflowed from the moment we met. I love sunrises at South Pointe Park because the beach is pretty empty and the pastel colors is my favorite light! (You can check out two other sunrise sessions I photographed on the beach, and one in Coral Gables). The beach, stone jetty, and board walk were the perfect backdrop for these adventurous souls as we tried to get that romantic Florida picture perfect moment :)
