Long Time Friends Miami Visit & Sunset Engagement | South Pointe Park

This session is so special to me because it's two of our dear friends from college! Sudeep and Drew were roommates in college in Raleigh, NC. They were both Park Scholars at NC State University and many of our best friends Drew met through the program. They value academics, service, relationships, and making the world a better place. (I even got to take engagement pictures of two of our other close friends from college too! Relive their 2015 engagement HERE). Sudeep & Katie came down to Miami to visit us and we had so much fun catching up and showing them our favorite places. We've known Sudeep for almost a decade! Drew and I went to school only 30 minutes away so I was a frequent visitor at their apartment and later house. We played ultimate frisbees, went out to dinner, had game nights, volunteered and supported each other as they served as heads of Service Raleigh and the Krispy Creme Challenge. I cheered them on as they played real life soccer and video game soccer (LOL), we threw lots of surprise birthday parties, and they always had an open door welcoming anyone in. My favorite memory was getting snowed in one weekend at their apartment with lots of friends all piled in the living room, singing songs and having snow ball fights, we were and still are family. While everyone is doing amazing work all over the world and country, we still get together every year! I'm excited because next year our group has two weddings to celebrate! Sudeep and Katie (From Vanderbilt) were both premed in college and met one summer interning at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. It's the best love story! I love that their passions for healing and helping brought them together. As soon as we met Katie, we knew she was perfect!! Together they're the ideal compliments, balance, and power couple! Beyond kind, loyal, hearts of service, unconditionally loving, and full of life. Sudeep is a Doctor specializing in pediatrics and Katie is in med school and doing a year of leukemia research. He proposed in Memphis where they first met and surprised her by bringing together both their families to help celebrate. I know my words can never convey how incredible these two are as individuals and as a unit. So hopefully these photos can show you their genuine joy and pure radiance and how much I adore Sudeep and Katie!
