Margo + Nelson

She Said Yes! 

Nelson is a good friend from work. I was so honored when he first approached me with this idea to hide out an snap away as he proposed to his incredible girlfriend, Margo. Margo is an amazing teacher with the most selfless and giving heart of service. Nelson and I scouted out the location a few days before hand. Nelson told Margo they had dinner reservations at a nice place so they had to get dressed up, but before dinner he had to stop at this apartment complex and pick up something from a friend. This spot is super meaningful.

This bench in between some UNC apartments was where they first talked the night away and felt this could be something special. How thoughtful is Nelson?! 

I was literally hiding out in the bushes and I was shaking so much because I didn't want to miss it! Right after the sequence below a car passed. Note to self: next time I hide out I won't let a road be between my hiding spot and the couple. Thanking God this beautiful moment turned out perfectly. 

I also had a GoPro recording the whole proposal right by the bush where Nelson is standing :) Full production here!

I then popped out of the bushes and got to take a few sun kissed photos before they had to run to dinner.
