Best friend, sister, voice of light and change in this world.

I've know B since we were 14 years old! Our friendship was forged serving and laughing side by side in the beautiful surf town of Tamarindo, Costa Rica where we helped with an after school program, helped with recycling and bike safety programs, worked in a church's coffee shop, and grew up together. (If you visit the About Me section of the site & scroll down, you can see a few photos from our trip back in 2008!) My husband and I are blessed years later to call her forever family. My favorite fun fact is that she signed our marriage certificate! B's altruistic heart for public health and policy and passion for advocating on behalf of women's and family health is awe-inspiring.

So you can imagine my elation when she surprised us by coming into town one beautiful May day! I've always wanted to capture her natural luminosity on camera! So on our way to Maple View Farms in Hillsborough, we pulled over on the side of the road and snapped away some photos in this gorgeous field.

Beautiful inside and out, spreading and leaving bits of sweet nectar everywhere she goes & making everything she touches bloom a bit brighter, I present, the radiant Bee.
